Nayyab Ali
A renowned transgender rights expert, social scientist and one of the first transgender candidates in the 2018 elections campaigning for empowering transgenders and addressing gender inequality. She has been appointed as a gender equality advocate at UNDP and received 6 international awards highlighting her significant contributions to the transgender community.
Sobia Khan
The only transgender candidate in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2024 Elections
challenging stereotypes about her community's capabilities in Pakistan. She started a door-to-door campaign to garner support for her candidacy, build confidence in her candidacy among voters while advocating for recognising and including transgender persons in politics, parliament and society.

Saveera Parkash
A doctor determined to address the insufficiencies in healthcare infrastructure, the low educational rates for women, and the societal norms restricting women’s participation in public life, she boldly entered politics and became the first Hindu woman to contest in the National Assembly elections and the first Hindu woman from the Buner constituency to contest for a general seat.

Rehana Magsi
The first and only woman to contest in Balochistan, she campaigned in the 2024 elections for essential services, including schools, roads, healthcare access, and community rights, challenging the traditional rule of tribal chieftains despite facing threats from powerful rivals.
